Technical Sales Specialist – California

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Support California (San Jose, Cerritos) offices in all aspects of sales
  • Qualify sales leads, coordinate RFQ opportunities, attend bid meetings, generate and track proposals
  • Travel between offices as needed to support the team
  • Manage complete order cycle; proposal, job number system, PO’s, project cost summary, invoice, payment
  • Generate monthly financial and forecast reports
  • Support new CRM rollout, account and contact input, maintain and update database
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships through phone, face-to-face visits, meals, entertainment, etc.
  • Schedule client meetings with both existing customers, as well as prospective accounts to collect information on upcoming projects
  • Search for opportunities to grow business through customer partnerships, service agreements or contracts

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 4-year college degree
  • 1-2 years Inside Sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maturity and ambition required
  • Detail oriented and discipline required
  • Self-motivated and strong desire to learn and grow
