RESA Power Expands Sample Guard Product Offering

RESA Power has added an exciting new addition to its successful Sample Guard product line. Designed for harsh or demanding conditions, Sample Guard Stainless facilitates safe access to oil sample and nitrogen service lines without corroding.

Houston, TX, February 25, 2019 – RESA Power, LLC, a market leader in life extension solutions for power distribution & control equipment has expanded the Sample Guard enclosure series for cabinet style transformers with the addition of Sample Guard Stainless. The stainless steel construction ensures that the enclosures are less susceptible to corrosion, allowing them to weather salty and other severe conditions.

RESA’s Sample Guard series enables safe access to oil sample and nitrogen service lines by relocating them to an enclosure mounted outside the transformer. Technicians can pull oil samples and service the nitrogen blanket with zero risk of Arc Flash.

“We are pleased to offer our customers, with transformers located in wet and brackish areas, an option to protect their technicians and transformers from Arc Flash and reduce downtime,” said Mark Angus, Chief Commercial Officer for RESA Power. “The Sample Guard Stainless enclosures are resistant to rust and corrosion and will last longer in areas with high atmospheric moisture,” Mark added.

Sample Guard Stainless enclosures are easy to mount and arrive with the hardware necessary for installation. Lead time for the enclosures is two weeks.
