San Jose, CA – RESA Power Solutions (“RESA”) announced it has completed the acquisition of West Coast Switchgear, Inc. Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Cerritos, California, West Coast Switchgear is an industry leader in sales, service and remanufacturing of power circuit breakers, switchgear and other power distribution equipment and control systems. With locations in Cerritos and Bakersfield, West Coast Switchgear is backed by an in-house engineering staff, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and onsite apparatus repair facility for everything 480 volt and above.

RESA anticipates continuing West Coast Switchgear operations under its current local leadership, staff and facilities in Cerritos and Bakersfield – without any job losses. In fact, RESA intends to build upon the West Coast Switchgear presence in Southern California and grow significantly in the Western part of the US. Specific Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
